Play Yard is COMPLETE!!
Declan LOVES the play structure. Home Depot 600.00 (plus 10% off this weekend!!) I'd say it was a good deal. The size is perfect for our play area.
The pea gravel is a big hit. Declan spends hours and hours just digging and laying around in it. It's kind of a pain because he gets VERY dirty. We have a two new rules
1) No laying down in the pea gravel.
2) You can only dig in the pea gravel with a shovel.
I don't mind him rolling around in the gravel in the evening, when it would be easy to give him a bath...but it's not such a great thing first thing in the morning!

Yay play yard and the thought of $600 sounds quite reasonable (like I know)! And what a nice looking countryside. Had a dream this weekend already that I went to visit a friend in her Manhattan apartment, then went out on her deck and was surrounded by woods!
Are there neighborhood kids who will come and enjoy it too?

Wow! That rocks. A park right outside your house. Did I tell you that after we set up our playset that madeline said "mom, this isn't a park. this is our house"

Whoa! My children are going to start thinking that they are being forced to live in the slums. Go Declan!
Great job!!! Looks like a lot of hard work paid off.
