And We're Off!

Our vacation is off to a great start! We stopped on the way to feed the fish at a fish hatchery. I think we were there for almost an hour. To think-- I almost didn't stop. So often I forget that life is about "The Journey", not the destination. (hence the title of my blog) As you can tell by the photos, Declan had a blast. We'll stop again on the return trip. The photos of our shoes are kind of a joke. That's one of the problems with being a single parent...no one to take photos of you with you kiddo. Well LESS opportunities, so I just took pictures of our shoes, together -side by side.

Then we stopped on the way into town to ride the go-carts - very, very fun. Once again...single parent no photos as I had to ride with him due to age.

We then arrived at our hotel. SOOOOO cool, the room is as big as our apartment, seriously. We played on the play structure and ordered in Pizza; Declan thought it was sooo cool to order food and have it delivered (we live in the country, remember, no delivery). Played a little golf on the T.V. and now he is in his P.J.'s watching cartoons before drifting off to sleep. A near perfect day!

By the way, what is with a blogger spell check that doesn't recognize the word BLOG?!?!?!
