Pop-Tarts and Tight Clothes for 'plus size' ladies...
Two current trends I just don't get. These are two unrelated issues, well maybe not, but I just don't get these things. Have you noticed they are always coming up with new Pop-Tart flavors? What's up with that? and how many flavors do we really need? I keep seeing displays pop up all over the super market.
The other thing I have noticed is that the current trend of tight, short shirts has even migrated over to the plus size clothing department. As a woman who purchases plus sizes, I find it annoying and strange, it minimizes my selection. What is up with larger women who choose to wear skin tight shirts that even show some of their stomachs? I understand all the young (and older) women with firm tone bodies wanting to show their stuff, but plus size women?
On that note...today I joined Curves. I've gained quite a bit of weight over the last two years and figured it's time to do something about it. I was very impressed with my work out today, I love the fact that you change to a new station every 30 seconds; 30 minutes just flys by. I'll report on how it's going in a month when I weigh in again..
